We strive to ensure that all products we use in our Tearoom and those featured in our Teacup Tearoom Cream Tea Sets are locally produced right here in Cornwall, all produced within 20 miles of the Tearoom.

We offer a delightful selection of beverages alongside our traditional Cornish Cream Teas that include scones, clotted cream, and local preserves. Our customers enjoy the freedom to choose from a variety of preserves and can decide between plain or fruit scones served with their cream teas. Additionally, our range of Homemade Cakes and desserts complements the experience. You can always find updates on our latest cakes and treats on our Instagram and Facebook pages.
Our Homemade Cream Tea sets start from just £7.75, with cakes available from £3.00.
We try and cater for all dietary requirements at no extra cost
We aim to meet the needs of our customers by offering gluten free, dairy free, nut free, and vegan options, ensuring that you can enjoy the best cream tea in Cornwall without worry. Your Tea or Coffee is always available with your choice of preferred milk, including non-dairy, at no extra charge.
To enhance your experience, we serve our Deluxe Vegan Hot Chocolates with vegan marshmallows and non-dairy cream, making it even more special.
Our range of freshly made sandwiches includes gluten free bread options and can be paired with dairy free spreads, in addition to our sandwich selection featuring several vegan and vegetarian filling options.
We advise all customers with specific allergy or dietary requirements to check with the tearoom in advance (ideally the day before) of their visit to confirm which items are suitable. As a small tearoom, items like our gluten & dairy free combined scones sell out very quickly, and we would hate for visitors to miss out on the cream tea enthusiasts rave about.

Since opening, our Tearoom has proudly won three Gold awards, one Silver, two Bronze, and has been a finalist in seven Industry and Tourism Awards, including 'Best Café/Tearoom', 'Best New Business', and 'Most Dog Friendly Business'. We are thrilled to announce that we have just been named 'Best Café/Tearoom' in the Cornwall Tourism Awards 2025/2026, recognizing our dedication to serving the best cream tea in Cornwall. Previously, we also won four awards at The Cornwall Tourism Awards for 'Best Café/Tearoom' and 'Most Dog Friendly Business' during the 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons. Furthermore, we were finalists in the Cornwall Business Awards for 'Best New Business'.

In November 2025, we were delighted to be awarded GOLD for the second time in the Cornwall Tourism Awards for 'Best Cafe/Tearoom' for 2025/26.
In November 2020, we were thrilled to receive GOLD in the Cornwall Tourism Awards for 'Best Cafe/Tearoom' for 2020/2. Additionally, we earned BRONZE in the Cornwall Tourism Awards for 'Dog Friendly Business' in the same year, showcasing our dedication to both our furry friends and our wonderful customers.
In November 2019, we were equally excited to be awarded GOLD in the Cornwall Tourism Awards for 'Dog Friendly Business' for 2019/20, alongside receiving BRONZE in the Cornwall Tourism Awards for 'Best Cafe/Tearoom' for 2019/20.
In February 2020, we proudly represented Cornwall at the South West England Tourism Excellence Awards for 'Dog Friendly Business,' where we won the Silver Award. We also received a Commended Honour for 'Best Café/Tearoom' in the South West of England.
Additionally, we achieved Silver in the finals of the South West England Tourism Excellence Awards for 'Best Café/Tearoom' for 2020/2021, reaffirming our status as a leader in providing unforgettable cream teas in Cornwall.
Do you take orders for scones?
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to take orders or pre-orders for our scones, including our Gluten Free & Vegan options.
We continue to bake these scones daily within the Tearoom but please be aware that they often sell out quickly.
We always have a selection of Gluten Free , Dairy Free & Vegan cakes available.
We sell everything you need for your own tea party
